Welcome to mt. greylock campsite park

Welcome Back Tent Campers! - June 12 COVID 19 Update.

Saturday, the Governor of Massachusetts announced that the Opening of Massachusetts Phase 2 could include the opening of tent camping areas in Massachusetts campgrounds.

Mt. Greylock Campsite Park is pleased to announce that we will be ready to welcome tent campers beginning Friday, June 12, 2020, by reservation only. We will be compliant with all requirements given by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs and the Center for Disease Control. Guests will be given COVID-19 policies and procedures, regarding the use of social distancing, face mask requirements and bathhouse and pool sanitation and occupancy, at arrival.

In addition, bathhouses and the playground will open Friday, June 12th. The pool will open July 1st. The Laundry Center is available by appointment only. The Welcome Center and Activity Center will remain closed. Items in the campground store including firewood, ice and other essentials are available for curbside pick-up or delivery to the campsite. Guest check-in will continue to be done at a distance. No visitors to campsites will be permitted. All tent campsites are by reservation only.

We have 4 distinct types of tent camping on our campground. Each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table. The campsites differ in location on the campground, parking options, distance to bathhouses, electric and water availability on the campsite and number of people allowed to occupy the campsite.
* Pond Tent Campsites
* Hilltop Tent Campsites
* Deluxe Tent Campsites
* Group Tent Campsite

All of the details can be found on our new Tent Camping at Mt. Greylock Campsite Park page on our website. Reservations can be made online for Pond, Hilltop and Deluxe tent campsites. Groups wishing to reserve the Group Tent Campsite must call the campground office at 413-447-9419 because there is a different procedure for reserving that campsite.

Make your reservation today! We are excited to open these areas on our campground and to welcome you!

Mt. Greylock Campsite Park is a jewel in the Berkshires located at the base of Mount Greylock Reservation. There is a reason why this campground has so many old friends coming back and why the new campers are making it a tradition-it's beautiful here!
Mt. Greylock Campsite Park is a 40-acre, 112 site recreational park that can accommodate tents, pop-ups, trailers, motorhomes and RV's up to 45 feet. There are two bathhouses with toilets, sinks, and free hot showers. The sites are deep and wide and are nestled in the woods, separated by trees and grass.

Trailer/RV Groups: Individuals/Families wishing to camp in adjacent sites should contact us for more information.

Tent Groups: New large Group Tent Sites can accommodate up to 24 people. Minimum of 10 people. Group leader should contact us for more information.

RETURNING GUESTS: If you know the number of the site you would like to reserve, you can indicate your site preference in the Special Requests box on the on-line reservation form. Every effort will be made to ensure that you are placed in the site that you requested. Situations that might affect our ability to grant your site request include someone else has already booked that site on one or more of the nights you also want the site, a group of campers request contiguous sites or maintenance to the site. Ultimately, as the campground owners, we make the final decisions about placing guests on sites and we ask for your cooperation. You will learn your site number at check-in on the day you arrive.

If you need to cancel, or reschedule your stay with us and notify us at least two days in advance of your arrival, we will gladly reschedule you for another time or hold the amount you paid toward a future visit. These weekends require a minimum reservation for three nights. Regardless of when you cancel, there are NO REFUNDS on these holiday weekends and NO CREDIT TOWARD A FUTURE VISIT.
Mt. Greylock is a hidden jewel! The new owners are adding something new everyday. The former owner is working on site and all are working to make this a great campground. I would give this 5 stars. They even helped us unplug our black water tank giving us many helpful hints. The campground is close to many historical sites and good restaurants. Wonderful people and you are pleasantly secluded in the woods. We will be back next year.

The sites are so big and wooded. You almost feel like you have the place all to yourself!

There is no sewer, however, there is a pump out station. Honey wagon service is free with extended stays of a week or more and available to others for a small fee. There is a fire pit or ring and picnic table on every site.

We're always making improvements to our campground. The latest include new volleyball and basketball courts, renovated office and camp store, and solar cover for the pool. There's plenty to do on site and even more things to do in the surrounding area!
